Bike up..

Coffee plantations seem to be wild in contrast to the discipline of tea plantations, one is light green while the other is dark. While the gaps in between tea plantations are very narrow with the shrubs closing them as they grow, coffee plantations have wide open corridors running through it's length and breadth. I noticed that in other plantations as well. Alath-Cad rented us bicycles (most of them were quite lousy) to go around the estate. It was quite a challenge to bike it up and down with uneven ground. Few of the bikes had gears but did not work to our annoyance; they were perrenially on the highest gear. Add to it the exra dimenson of wet grass from morning dew and you get the picture!
