On the last morning, we decided to hike all the way to Devikulam, the next town, have breakfast there and come back in time for lunch. We started at about 8:30 am. The way was uphill and on either side was tea plantations. The road took us to a height from where Munnar town was visible. Ugly mark of humans in the midst of pristine. The air was fresh and chill but the trudge took the wind out of us. Soon we were parched and gulping down water. About then, we noticed this ingenious entrapment.Though we marveled at it, we did'nt have the guts to fill our bottle!
