Kumbh Mela

Goa during New Year's Eve is like Kumbh Mela. If you have walked on the stretch between Calangute and Baga on New Year's, you would know what I am talking about. Everything is priced three times. Half the crowd is drunk all through the day and the firangis make it worse. We headed for South Goa, Colva for this specific reason, where it is calmer and less crowded. To my surprise, I found this bunch of people from Bihar landing in Goa for New Year's! Pretty interesting to see people travelling all over these days. Probably the low cost airlines made it possible.
