Hibiscus Fresh

I think Neha took this snap. The hibiscus was dripping with freshness. Reminds me of my childhood days. We had a hibiscus tree right by our house and my grandma would be picking the fallen flowers early in the morning for her puja. That variety was dark red, not this pinkish type. The red hibiscus were of great demand on Saturdays for the worship of Kali or Shani! A garland of red hibiscus on black Kali looks quite scary though! I like the red ones, which makes a killer contrast with dark green leaves. The petals have a very velvety feel, very smooth.
