Church

On a lazy evening stroll, we came across this nice church. It was the Munnar-Thekkady road, quite busy and dusty and not so pleasant to walk, nevertheless we were on it exploring the town. The road skirted a little hillock and bang on top of it was this church. Only the tall tower could be seen and it caught our fancy, more of Neha's than mine. The way upto the church was not quite obvious and we really took some obscure way through a deserted building to the church. The people at the church wore a surprised look to see us trudge up the way we took. On reaching the church we figured it had a pretty good road leading in. Anyways, the church is quite nice, built out of big blocks of greystone(mostly)! The black of the tower stands apart from the grey of the walls and lends quite a contrast. The wooden door is marvellous and exquisite. Unfortunately, the church had locked it's doors by then.
